Conferences, Internet, Internet Governance

UNICART works actively in the field of Internet and Internet Governance. We are participating in the education of the Bulgarian community with the current topics in the Internet and domains industry by taking part in the organization of conferences, workshops, discussions with people from all over the world in Sofia and other cites.

It the end of each year, our team is part of the organizing comitte of the event Domain Forum (http://www.domainforum.global), as in 2014, the conference was held for the fourth consecutive time. Internet Domains, Domains Market, Internet management, Multilingual Internet are always among the highlights of the program.

In 2014 we hosted the 14th annual event ICANN Studienkreis (http://www.icann-studienkreis.net/). It is an open network of individuals from different Internet constituencies from the private sector, the academia, the civil society, the media and the government. More than 50 world-renowned names visited our country and discussed with local representatives developments in the field.

In 2015 we are honored to be hosting the international event EuroDIG (European dialogue on Internet governance) (http://www.eurodig.org/eurodig-2015/). EuroDIG is an open platform where anyone who wants can join the process of compiling it by proposing topics for discussion, related to pressing problems and issues on the Internet field. Each year EuroDIG is held in a different European country in order to encourage the local community to participate in a debate on European level. This year's event will be held on 4-5 June 2015 at Kempinski Hotel Marinela, Sofia, Bulgaria.
